House, Sundö, 13:13

Irma has left for Helsinki, while Sunshine and I remain here. The weather has celebrated by dropping another few degrees, so that I have to wear a cardigan to fend off the wind.
I sit indoors reading and photograph the magazine on the wall: issue number twelve of the 1933 volume of Kotiliesi, a magazine still being published today. It depicts a family raising their flag to celebrate midsummer.
The old issues all had painted covers by well-known Finnish illustrators.
