Röhdinkuja, 17:25
We got up late this morning: late and slowly.
After a late breakfast or an early lunch I went for a walk for an hour or so. I then went back to bed and promptly fell asleep again.
In the afternoon we went to see Irma’s mother in hospital. She had asked for her post and so we had collected it. When we arrived the madness continued, and we learned that plenty more would come our way soon.
When we get home I photograph a tree in the front garden because because I like the way that it stands out from the white fence.
I will then go for a shorter head-clearing walk that will not, in fact, do very much at all to clear my head. It will take me twenty minutes.
Irma will make vegetable stew and we will both go to bed early. It will look as though Perusuomalaiset, the right-wing nationalist party, has made a breakthrough in the Finnish elections.
Oh dear, we will think; and go to brush our teeth.
