It has been snowing all night, and I have been clearing it up all morning. Irma and I have just been to Prisma and now we are going to Hakkeniemi halli to get fish and other edible goodies.

Yesterday there were 250 road accidents in Finland, including a 100 car pileup on the road leading out to Helsinki to Lahti. Today the snow is uniform, the visibility is close to zero and this photograph was taken through the front windscreen.

Later Auo will go to Silja’s glow-bowling birthday party.
