The fact that we had a late morning was counterbalanced by the fact that the temperature had dropped to minus 20. Everyone had extra clothing, compulsory scarves and an overall air of moroseness. I am in the shopping mall to buy some fruit juice and other components of lunch. I am working late tonight as part of my determined effort to get the thesis written any day now.
