I didn’t set the alarm last night because I have no scheduled meetings today until 13:15. I do have things to do though and so I got up as soon as I woke up, which was about 7:40.

I have just left the house, the sun is already up, and the sky is bright blue. I left in a Spring jacket but walked a hundred metres and came back for my thick winter jacket. It may be dazzlingly bright but it is about minus ten. I am now leaving the house for the second time and I am watching a couple walking a dog into the woods. They are also wearing winter jackets.

I will get to Arcada and begin to plan my teaching for the week, before I start to feel swamped.
