Kalasatama, 9:00
I have not used my alarm at all this week, because I have not been teaching and therefore had no precise morning deadline. I have woken up at different times each day. Yesterday I woke at 7:00 and today I woke at 7:45.
I got a later bus, a later metro, and decided that the day was bright enough to justify walking from Kalasatama to Arcada. I am on the platform looking out at the building works where a new town is being grown. It changes every time I come here. Now the work is on both sides of the road and some of the earlier work is now appearing as visible structures.
When I have walked to Arcada I will collect my sports gear and spend thirty minutes in the gym. After that I will start work. Because of the preparation I did yesterday I have nothing to do for the evening class, and so I will spend almost all the day working on revising the book chapter for Alison and Gerri. I will do enough to send a polished next draft to Alison before I start teaching.
At 16:30 I will start the final session of the Digital Mediascapes course for the MA in Media Management. It will go well, and everyone will seem happy at the end. I will present their final assignment and it will all seem to make sense.
The class will finish slightly early and I will be home by about 9:15. We will both be tired and so we will be in bed asleep by 10:30.
